MGP high rye offers a medium body, column-distilled bourbon with a grassy backbone and flavors of sweet cream vanilla. Aged four years in No. 3 new char oak barrels, Dunce is a dignified balance of spice and fruit, sealed with a honeyed aroma.
The palate offers a soft and sweet baking spice taste upfront, slowly evolving into a more prominent grainy flavor. Dunce’s corn base melds artfully with the spicier peaks of rye and thyme, allowing for a medium length finish that truly illuminates this cultivated liquid.
